A Yeo-Johnson power transformation.
Transform \(x\) as:
\[\begin{split}y = & ((x + 1)^\lambda - 1) / \lambda, \text{ for } x \geq 0, \lambda \neq 0 \\\\
& \log(x + 1), \text{ for }x \geq 0, \lambda = 0 \\\\
